OB-vehicles

Here in Mönsterås we have been building OB vehicles for 30 years. Our customers are mainly Radio- and TV companies in the Nordic countries. To cope with the cold Nordic climate as well as the warm sun of Athens, there are high demands on both coach building and climate installations. The OB vehicles are built for the most recent technique. We also do alterations and complementing of existing OB vehicles, such as expanding sides, slomo-fittings and racks. Viriba  During Spring 2014, Groth Kaross has constructed a mobile unit for Big Screen. The screen is 6 x 3,5 m and is controlled through a central hydraulic cylinder.
	YLE    This unit was probably the most modern OB-unit in Europe, when it was delivered to YLE, Finland 2011, and can handle up to 24 cameras. The trailer also contains second production room.
OB Team During Spring 2011, HD3 was delivered to OB-Team, Norway. OB-Team decided to equip HD3, as the first OB unit in Scandinavia, to be able to perform 3D production. Groth has equipped HD3 with numerous new details, described in the OB vehicle brochure, linked above.	During 2010 Groth has delivired two units to OB-Team in the category 2 camera units for harness racing production. These can also pruduce in HD.
HD Resources   In the picture to the right, Groth's latest (2013) OB-trailer, HDR6, is leaving Sony in Basingstoke, UK. The trailer is equipped for the latest technology; 4K	Groth Kaross delivered a unit called mobile studio, during 2010. This is used at all V75 races and at V64. Watch video . NRK For the biggest OB-units, you need a supporting unit. These are equipped for efficient use and according to your needs and wishes. This supporting unit was delivered to NRK in May 2011. Read more in our brochure here .	A new generation audio-busses has been delivered to Norwegian NRK. Except the 5.1- listening and surround, it has the latest acoustic design.
